Research on Effectiveness
To answer its obligation to do research in psychotherapy and in the context of the request made by the Federal Ministry for Social Insurance ( Bundesamt für Sozialversicherung), that all psychotherapeutic schools should prove that their methods are effective, expedient and efficient (in economic terms), the Jung Institute has participated in the Swiss version of "Praxissstudie Analytische Langzeittherapie" (PAL, Naturalistic Study of Long-Term Analytical Psychtherapies) between 1997 and 2003. This naturalistic, prospective process-outcome-study has been carried out in international cooperation with researchers in Heidelberg, Berlin and Zurich. For more information see: Naturalistic Study of Long-Term Analytical Psychotherapies (PAL).
