Contact with other methods of psychotherapy
Among the first co-workers to develop and endorse the Swiss Charter on Psychotherapy, the Jung Institute maintains, by means of this instrument, a dialogue that transcends loyalties to particular schools. The Institute took part in a scientific Charter Congress in May, 1996, organized together with the Swiss Association of Psychotherapists (SPV/ASP) with the endorsing institutions. The congress was called Psychotherapy: answers to the new challenge: goals, research, and training. In a top- notch, international framework, the Congress addressed the Charter-community's social, scientific, and practical concerns. In the USA, the C.G. Jung Institute of Zurich is a Corresponding Member of the ABAP (Accrediting Board for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis) and of the NAAP (National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis)
